Composer and pianist Ethan Boxley explores the new age genre with the release of Past Summer. The album features a collection of ten original pieces inspired by friends and memories. As for all his compositions, Ethan explains that his aim is to “combine rich, contrapuntal textures and devices with clear, memorable melodic idiom,” in order to create music that is “as engaging
and listenable as it is highly complex.”
